I too am having an interesintg time in Brazil. From business point of view I am surpised by how much more develpred it is than India. Both had similar closed economnies for a long time and I thoughth that the outcomes would be closr levels of developemnt. But Brazil is decades ahead of india in my opinion. I have visited five companies: a soy bean processor, a temporoary staffing and constrcuton eqiupment rental comany, a public relations/ad agency and two optical medical equipment comapnies. Each has been impressive in diferent ways.
Hello Joyce, Your account of drifting around the world is marvelous and seems almost surreal. But then again, seeing Mamaroneck Avenue completely under water, with firemen rescuing the unfortunates trapped in submerged cars, also seems surreal. We had a nasty flood on Friday, march 2, caused by frozen ground,heavy downpours and rising rivers. I like your comments better than mine!.Keep writing! Love, Penny
