Noow Braxil is doing onw in Salvadoe Arrived 7 am and still havent been able to get off the ship. Immigration wanted to see everyones face. I want to make a phone call but the companies are limited to the state company. Will try to call collect . The trip isgreat so far I will take a tour with the global studies prof to see h of Because on globaliztion.ow Brazil is doinggh onglobalization. Carnival has everhing shut dow including the markets and shops. I have a tour to Carnival, one to an island in the harbor and one to the country. If nothying else I am learning the computer.Everything is great and if I dont call here I will on thr high seas . The snow seems Quite hot and hmbut at 12 degrees northlatitude it is very hot

Brasil sounds like it is going to be in the grip of carnival. what better time to be there?
danny really enjoyed his birthday starting with going our with ten friends at midnite for a first legal.
he is doing very will and will be taking some friends out to dinner with his first paycheck. He loved your gift and will contact you about what he is going to do with it. leah is at amys this weekend. she is sick so it is good to have a friendly place to go.

Hi Mom - Sorry I haven't written. Things have been a littel hectic on vacation with Madeleine, Genevieve, Deema and Geoffrey. We are having tons of fun, but not a lot of time avalaible for computer. Yesterday for my birthday we drove to Santo Domingo, about 3 hours away. The countryside is very beautiful, but not particurly prosperous. The old city was stunning. We walked around the reputedly oldest chruch in the Americas and an old fort, had lunch outside under an umbrella in a tropical downpour and came home.
Off to Brazil on Saturday and the girls are headed back to Bosotn.
